Welcome to Madeira City Schools
   On behalf of the students, staff and Board of Education of Madeira City Schools, thank you for visiting our website.

Madeira City Schools has been educating the students of our community for over 85 years. The achievements and accomplishments of our students, which have been recognized for excellence both locally and nationally, are due to great teachers, involved parents and a supportive community. 
First day of school
The first day of school for students is Tuesday, August 17. For all board approved 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school dates, please see the news article below.

New Director of Student Services
The Madeira City School Board recently approved Mr. Kevin Wright as the district’s new Director of Student Services. The Director of Student Services position includes providing support in the areas of Special Education, Help Me Grow, Preschool, 504/Intervention Plans, ESL, Gifted, and Guidance.
