I Make a Difference Award
Pat Shea and his wife Meg and their daughters Carley (MHS Class of 2016) and Macy (MHS Class of 2018) have lived in Madeira since 1996. A graduate of Ohio University, Pat is the National Sales Manager for Cincinnati Metals Company. Before becoming a board member, he was a Trustee on the Madeira Schools Foundation, a member of the Residents for Madeira Schools Levy Committee and an Athletic Boosters supporter.
Pat currently serves on the board's Finance and Legislative Committees.
Tarek has been a Madeira resident for 17 years and has two daughters in Madeira Schools; Kayla is a Senior and Kelsey is a Sophomore. He is a CEO and is actively involved with entrepreneurship/technology initiatives Cintrifuse, The Brandery, UpTech and OCEAN in and around Cincinnati. Tarek received his Masters from Xavier University after graduating from the University of Dayton. He was involved with the Madeira Schools Foundation for seven years and served as the President.
Tarek serves on the board's Legislative and Policy Committees.
Dr. Cathy Swami received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Education in Elementary Education and an EdD in Educational Administration from the University of Cincinnati. After 24 years in Cincinnati Public Schools, she spent 11 years in Madeira City Schools as Principal of Madeira Elementary School. A resident of Madeira for 41 years, she has a daughter Kara who attended Madeira from preschool thru high school graduating in 2006
Dr. Swami serves on the Great Oaks Board and is the Student Achievement liaison.
Ginger has been a resident of Madeira for the past 13 years. She and her husband are the parents of two high school aged children. She serves as the Director of HR Operations & Compensation for TriHealth, Inc.
Ginger attended Ohio State University where she received her Bachelor in Science Business, as well as her Masters in Labor and Human Resources.

Richard received a BS Business Economics from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. A resident of Madeira for 13 years, he has two children attending Madeira Schools; Gray who is in 9th grade, and Abigail who is in 7th.
Richard is President of the Nehemiah Manufacturing Company. Prior to becoming a school board member, he was involved with the Madeira Schools Planning Commission. He serves on the Finance and Building & Grounds Committees.
