The Madeira City Schools and the Madeira community are comprised of dedicated and involved individuals who regularly go beyond the expected to ‘make a difference’ in our schools. They have the attitude of not being satisfied with the status quo, but of going the extra mile. This award was created to recognize the extraordinary contribution of these people.
Any employee or volunteer is eligible for the ‘I Make A Difference Award.’ Nominations are submitted this application to the Superintendent’s office at 7465 Loannes Drive, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243. Applications are also available in each school office. More than one person may be nominated (a committee, members of a specific projects). Recipients will be honored by the Madeira Board of Education and their name(s) will also be added to a permanent plaque in Perin Learning Commons.
• Nominees for his award should have exceeded district expectations.
• The award is bestowed for actions that are beyond the scope of direct job responsibilities.
• The outcome/product must enhance the district over a number of years, or may be a one time event that significantly impacts the district.
Nominations for spring 2017 are due by May 5, although they may be submitted any time throughout the year,
