Types of Gifts and How You Can Donate

Types of Gifts
• Unrestricted gifts, without any stipulation by the donor as to use
• Restricted gifts by the donor for a specific program, service or facility
• Written pledges for contributions made in predetermined stages
• Gifts to an endowment program that will meet our mission and adhere to all government guidelines

How You Can Donate
The Foundation Board, which is comprised of concerned citizens, will
determine the types of gifts that it will accept and manage. The types of gifts
may include:
• Cash
• Securities
• Real property
• Tangible personal property
• Personal Life Insurance
• By leaving a legacy through a gift in your will, you can continue to help Madeira Schools.
In adhering to the policies of the Foundation, gifts may be immediately
allocated or invested in endowment funds.

The Madeira Schools Foundation is recognized as a tax exempt, charitable organization under Section 501 (C3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and for allowable deductions under Section 170 (C2) of the Internal Revenue Code
