- Homework
Students should expect a written homework 3 - 5 nights per week.
Written homework will typically be either an assignment from the student Cuaderno (workbook) or a worksheet that students are given in class. At times students may have a textbook assignment.
Please check progressbook for a brief description of the homework.
If no written assignment is given, students should review vocabulary or grammar topics. Students are encouraged to go to the www.classzone.com website, www.conjuguemos.com website, or visit any of the links posted for the current unit on the Edmodo Español 4 group page.Assign On: 6/1/2012Due: 6/1/2025 - Tests and Quizzes
Tests or quizzes are given approximately every one to three weeks, depending on the amount of material we need to cover. Please check Progressbook to see if there is an upcoming test or quiz.
Tests and quizzes can include listening, speaking, reading and writing portions. Students should be able to correctly spell all vocabulary correctly as well as use correct grammar structures. Spelling and accent marks count, so make sure you are detail oriented!Assign On: 6/1/2012Due: 6/1/2025 - Daily Participation
Students are evaluated daily on their class participation. They receive feedback approximately every three weeks, and grades are posted online at this time as well.
To earn a high participation score students should do the following: help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere with positive, appropriate comments; stay on-task, participate constructively in pair and group activities; know translations and make positive effort to figure things out; bring all materials to class, and speak Spanish in both structured and non-structured language activities.
