Students should expect a homework assignment each night. Homework may be a practice worksheet, a reading selection, audio or video assignment, vocabulary assignment, recording, exam preparation or review.
Please check progressbook for a brief description of the homework.

Tests or quizzes are given approximately every one to three weeks, depending on the amount of material we need to cover. Please check Progressbook to see if there is an upcoming test or quiz.
Tests and quizzes can include listening, speaking, reading and writing portions. Students should be able to correctly spell all vocabulary correctly as well as use correct grammar structures. Students are evaluated daily on their class participation.
They receive feedback approximately every three weeks, and grades are posted online at this time as well.
To earn a high participation score students should do the following: help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere with positive, appropriate comments; stay on-task, participate constructively in pair and group activities; know translations and make positive effort to figure things out; bring all materials to class, and speak Spanish in both structured and non-structured language activities.
