Helping Students Live in a Digital World pto parent session

Thanks to the many parents who attended the MMS & MHS PTO Parent Engagement sessions.

News From the Principal's Desk

What a great weekend it was for the middle school with the theater department putting on three sold-out or nearly sold-out performances of Annie Jr.  Many, many thanks to all of you who volunteered with set work, costumes, helping the students during the performances, concessions, ticket sales, and on and on – we could not do this without you!  Many thanks also to Kristin Anderson and Tina Gutierrez for their direction in the show – great job!

PTO Parent and Community Engagement Night

We hope many of you have marked your calendars for this evening at 6:00 p.m. (in the high school PLC) for our second parent engagement night of the year.  This evening’s topic will be social media, which is one of the biggest influencers our students face in our world today.  Students text, post, surf, and chat through social media in ways you and I are not fully aware.  Helping them understand what good digital citizenship looks and sounds like is a true community effort and we want everyone to be part of the discussion.  Please make every effort to join us at the PLC this evening at 6:00 p.m.  There will also be another session primarily for high school parents at 7:30 this evening – also in the PLC.

Buddy Club Outing - Nov 17th Buddy Club Activity

Our next Buddy Club outing is to go and see the 6:45pm showing of WONDER on Friday, Nov. 17 at Milford 16 Theater.   We are asking any students that go to be transported and chaperoned by a parent.  The theater is anticipating a sellout so get your tickets early and online at the following web address:

Student tickets are $4.99 (same as child) and adult tickets are $8.75.

Hope you can join us!
