Latin Students go to Columbus!!!

The group from Madeira, which consisted of 48 students in grades 8 through 12, placed 3rd out of 22 schools in the Overall Sweepstakes and were recognized for having the largest OJCL chapter in Ohio with a total of 111 members.

See below for some of the most notable performances.  In addition to numerous recognitions, two Madeira Alumni, Hannah Young (Class of 2013) and Jason Long (Class of 2014), were elected to the Ohio Senior Classical League Executive Board for the upcoming year, and two current Madeira Latin students, Anne Shull and Ethan Hopkin, won 2nd place in “OJCL’S Got Talent” for their Taekwondo performance.

4th Place:  Upper Certamen (Team members:  Laura Smith, Adelaide Young, Hannah Gottesman, Mark Muenz)
