The Madeira City Schools Board of Education typically meets on the third Monday of each month at 7 pm in the Perin Learning Commons located at Madeira High School. Richard received a BS Business Economics from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. A resident of Madeira for 16 years, he and his wife Kellie are the parents of Gray MHS '19 and Abigail, who is a Junior at MHS. Richard is President of the Nehemiah Manufacturing Company. Prior to becoming a school board member, he was involved with the Madeira Schools Planning Commission.
Richard serves on the Finance Committee and is the Community Liason. He began serving his second term January 1, 2020, which runs through December 31, 2023.
Steve received a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Ohio University. A resident of Madeira, he and his wife Synda have two children: Alex MHS '17, and Samuel who is a Senior at MHS. Steve is a Partner with Centric Consulting. Prior to becoming a school board member, he was involved with the Madeira Schools Planning Commission and the Madeira Schools Foundation.
Steve serves on the Student Achievement Liason Committee and Policy Committee. He is serving his first term, which runs January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2021.
Paula received a BA in Journalism from Indiana University. A resident of Madeira for nearly 20 years, she and her husband Chris are the parents of Will MHS '18, Charlie MHS '20 and Margot, who is in eighth grade.
A former editor at Crain’s Chicago Business, Paula is a writer and editorial consultant. Prior to becoming a school board member, she was a trustee on the Madeira Schools Foundation and volunteered in the classroom and as a Madeira Youth Soccer coach.
Paula serves on the Planning Commission and the Policy Committee. She is serving her first term, which runs January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2023.
Ryan received a BS in Psychology and a BA in Elementary Education from Miami University. A resident of Madeira, he has three children attending Madeira Schools; Ethan, Kate, Lily. Ryan is the Division Sales Manager for Athene USA. Prior to becoming a school board member, he was involved with the Madeira Schools Planning Commission.
Ryan serves on the Finance Committee. He is serving his first term, which runs from January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2021.
Pat Shea and his wife Meg and their daughters Carley MHS '16 and Macy MHS '18 have lived in Madeira since 1996. A graduate of Ohio University, Pat is the National Sales Manager for Cincinnati Metals Company. Before becoming a board member, he was a Trustee on the Madeira Schools Foundation, a member of the Residents for Madeira Schools Levy Committee and an Athletic Boosters supporter.
Pat currently serves on the board's Legislative Committee and Building & Grounds Committee. He began his third term January 1, 2018, which runs through December 31, 2021.
