A vibrant learning community has teaching and learning as its central and primary focus. Whether you are a student or teacher, everyone in Madeira City Schools is learning. Students are learning from teachers the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic. And teachers are learning from students on how they learn best and what strategies help them to thrive.
Our primary focus in Madeira is on quality instruction that will prepare students for their future. Preparing students for the future means providing rigorous curriculum that is also developing students’ abilities in the 4 C’s - Critical thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity and innovation.
As Assistant Superintendent, my role is to help keep our focus on instruction while also managing the many other facets that make up a school district. In addition to Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology, I help to support and oversee Business Operations within the district that includes our Facilities, Transportation, Food Service, and Health and Safety. Each of these areas are critical to our vision of providing “A school community where learning is personalized and success is ensured.”
A team of talented professionals work hard every day in these areas to ensure our school district functions smoothly.
