Madeira High School senior Diego Arredondo has been named a 2019 National Hispanic Scholar by the National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP).
The NHRP is one of four academic opportunities offered by the College Board National Recognition Programs. The programs are used to identify academically exceptional students and can be included on college applications.
Diego finished in the top 2.5% of approximately 400,000 Hispanic/Latino students who took the PSAT last fall. Students with qualifying PSAT scores are notified of NHRP eligibility in February of their junior year. Certificate recipients are notified in September of their senior year.
