After coffee and bagels, the August 12 New Staff Orientation began with an introduction and overview of the district’s goals by Superintendent Kenji Matsudo and Assistant Superintendent Dave Bergan. The new employees were then introduced to district operations by Treasurer Emily Hauser; Registrar and Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent Lora Graziani; Public Relations Director Diane Nichols; Technology Coordinator Matt Jones; Student Services Director Jessica Hunter; and Facilities Manager Druien Downs. After a tour of the City of Madeira, new staff members were treated to lunch and then returned to their individual buildings. The New Staff Orientation was held courtesy of the Board of Education.
