Math Teacher - Madeira Middle School (2 Open Positions Grades 6-8)
Interested candidates should possess the following criteria:
Demonstrated knowledge of K-8 and Algebra grade level standards as well as the standards for Mathematical Practice
Evidence of lesson planning and instructional design which includes problem solving/reasoning skills, inquiry-based learning, and real-world/community connections
Demonstrated knowledge of intervention methods and materials needed within instruction to meet the needs of all students
Evidence of positive communication/collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
A commitment to grow professionally and work collaboratively across grade levels and content areas
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and bringing a global perspective into the classroom
Valid Ohio Teaching License (Preferred 4-9 Mathematics Licensure)

Early Childhood Intervention Specialist
Madeira Preschool has a full time preschool intervention specialist opening for the 2024-2025 school year. Interested candidates should possess the following criteria:
Must hold a current early childhood intervention license that includes preschool
Evidence of classroom management strategies that are appropriate for ages 3-5
Evidence of positive verbal and written communication/collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
Evidence of an Early Learning standards-based approach to instructional planning and delivery of instruction
Experience with preschool children and knowledge of child development
Evidence of differentiated instruction
A commitment to growing professionally
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity
A desire to be a cooperative and positive member of a team of related service providers, aides, and general educators.
Candidates will be responsible for case management for up to 16 children ages 3-5. The candidate will be a part of the identification process with children transitioning from Early Intervention or community referrals. They will be responsible for implementing specially designed instruction and IEP accommodations/modifications in the early childhood classrooms. They will write progress reports, organize and lead parent-teacher conferences with related service providers and the general education teacher and schedule and lead IEP meetings.
