Join Madeira City Schools in The Warrior Run: The Race for Life. This evening 5K race, one-mile walk, or Kids’ Fun Run is on October 5 at the Bell Tower in Mariemont, Ohio. The event is fun for the whole family and benefits Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center’s Surviving the Teens® program and local school mental health programs, including those in Madeira City Schools. After the race, stay to enjoy great food, music, carnival-style kids’ games, and a movie at dark. Consider signing up to run or just donate if you can’t make it for the fun. By participating through one of the links below, a portion of your donation will go directly to Madeira City Schools and our commitment to supporting mental wellness.
A Kid’s Fun Run starts at 7 PM. The family-oriented fundraiser benefits Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center’s (CCHMC) Surviving the Teens® program plus local in-school mental health programs. Make it a night—enjoy a beautiful setting, a scenic run/walk through Mariemont, great food, music, carnival-style kids games and a movie at dark. Don’t miss the fun!
Every dollar raised through the Warrior Run supports evidence-based mental health education. Past funding from this race supported Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center to expand their suicide prevention program from 24 schools to 75 schools reaching thousands of local youth. Their dream is that they can expand mental health programming to all local schools so that no one fights this fight alone.
