Job Posting: Head Coach – Madeira Boys Lacrosse

Description:
Madeira City Schools is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head Coach for the Boys Varsity Lacrosse program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lacrosse, demonstrated leadership skills, and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field. The Head Coach will be responsible for building upon the tradition of the program, fostering a positive team culture, and providing a rewarding experience for all student-athletes.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
The Head Coach will oversee all aspects of the Madeira Boys Lacrosse program, including planning and conducting practices, coaching varsity competition, hiring and coordinating with assistant coaches, and promoting skill development at all levels of the program. Additional responsibilities include monitoring student-athlete academic progress, communicating effectively with families, organizing offseason development opportunities, assisting student-athletes interested in playing at the collegiate level, supporting fundraising efforts, and maintaining positive relationships with the school and community.
The successful candidate will be committed to creating an environment that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, accountability, and personal growth while helping student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the field.
Candidates must pass all required background checks and meet Ohio Department of Education and OHSAA coaching certification requirements.
