Madeira Varsity Baseball
Madeira City Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Coach to lead the Varsity Baseball program. The ideal candidate will have a strong baseball background, proven leadership ability, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. This role requires a coach who can build a positive team culture, emphasize skill development, and lead the program with integrity, energy, and vision.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
The Head Coach will be responsible for all aspects of the Madeira Baseball program, including:
- Coaching the varsity team and overseeing lower-level programs
- Designing and implementing effective training and practice plans
- Developing players’ technical and strategic abilities
- Coordinating with assistant coaches and athletic staff
- Promoting academic accountability and sportsmanship
- Supporting college recruitment efforts for athletes
- Organizing camps, clinics, and fundraising initiatives
- Building strong relationships within the school and community
Candidates must pass all required background checks and meet Ohio Department of Education coaching certification requirements.

Middle School Cheer Coach (7th & 8th Grade)
Madeira City Schools is currently accepting applications for a dynamic and dedicated Head Coach for our Middle School Cheer program. We’re seeking an individual with a strong cheer background, proven leadership skills, and a passion for working with student-athletes. The successful candidate will lead the 7th and 8th grade cheer teams, promote skill development, and cultivate a positive, team-oriented environment. This position also involves collaboration with the high school cheer coaching staff to ensure program alignment and continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct coaching and supervision of the 7th and 8th grade cheer teams
Design and implement training and practice plans
Collaborate with high school cheer staff on program development
Ensure athlete safety and monitor academic performance
Assist with planning camps, clinics, and fundraising initiatives
Build strong relationships with athletes, families, and the school community
Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork in all aspects of the program
Requirements:
Cheer coaching or related experience preferred
Must pass background checks
Must meet all certification requirements set by the Ohio Department of Education
