Head Coach Madeira Varsity Softball
Madeira City Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Coach to lead the Varsity Softball program. The ideal candidate will have a strong softball background, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. We are looking for a coach who can foster a positive team culture, emphasize skill development, and lead the program with integrity, energy, and vision.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
The Head Coach will be responsible for all aspects of the Madeira Softball program, including:
Coaching the varsity team
Designing and implementing effective training and practice plans
Developing players’ technical, tactical, and mental skills
Coordinating with assistant coaches and athletic staff
Promoting academic accountability and sportsmanship
Supporting college recruitment efforts for athletes
Organizing camps, clinics, and fundraising initiatives
Building strong relationships within the school and community
Candidates must pass all required background checks and meet Ohio Department of Education coaching certification requirements.
