Our Quality Profile

QP

Our seventh annual Quality Profile (QP) is a compilation of accomplishments from the 2018-2019 school year in areas the Madeira community values most.

Madeira began producing the yearly QP in 2012, along with Forest Hills, Indian Hill, Loveland, Mariemont, Mason, Milford, Oak Hills, Sycamore and Wyoming school districts. That year, participating schools then surveyed residents to determine factors they valued in their child’s education that were not represented on the state’s report card. Currently close to 100 school districts throughout the state produce the annual report which supplements the Ohio Department of Education's yearly report card.

Our Quality Profile takes an in-depth look at the district's recent performance in the areas of Academics, Arts, Student Leadership & Activities, Fiscal Stewardship, Parent & Community Involvement, Varsity Athletics, Student Services, and Staff & District Recognitions. A few of the highlights included in the 2018-19 school year report are three Madeira High School students earning a perfect score on the ACT test, sixth grade students spreading kindness through the community by painting and hiding Kindness Rocks, and the MHS Band & Orchestra’s seventh annual Collaborative Concert with Indian Hill and Mariemont, conducted by Cincinnati Pops Conductor John Morris Russell.

The Quality Profile is supported by the Alliance for High Quality Education - an education consortium that works to improve educational opportunities for students and represents member districts on matters of educational policy and funding.

We are proud to share some of the highlights from the past school year at 2018-2019 QP. Past QPs may be found at A More Detailed Look at Madeira City Schools. To have a copy mailed to your home, contact Diane Nichols at 924-3707 or dnichols@madeiracityschools.org.
